A team devoted to ensuring you have a good experience
Established in 1999 Tempio is a small family run bar and restaurant, its owners having a history of over 40 years’ trading in the City of London, from sandwich bars to wine bars. Currently it is under the leadership of Peter and Bruno Scheggia and Mila Rosas Sanchez.
Tempio aims to offer a more personal service and atmosphere based around Italian cuisine with emphasis on a freshly prepared menu from quality ingredients and daily specials. With a wide selection of wines, beers and spirits and food at good value prices it offers an eclectic mix of trattoria/brasserie/wine bar, with busy lunches and a more casual bar vibe in the evening where customers are welcome to just drink or enjoy a meal as well.
Tempio also caters for take away, special events, offers various buffet menus, music and dancing.
The entire premises or three smaller areas are available to hire for drinks or dining on a minimum spend arrangement:
Normal opening hours can be extended to 12.30 am Monday to Thursday and 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Tempio is not open on Saturdays or Sundays but functions can be arranged with prior notice. Further licence extensions can be arranged by prior application.
All dishes on the menu are available to take away and will usually be ready for collection in 15 minutes or at a specified time. Larger orders or orders placed during lunch time may take longer. Delivery is not available except in special circumstances and by prior arrangement.
